Screen contrast

LED screen contrast ratio measures the difference between the brightest whites and the darkest blacks, affecting image depth and clarity. For indoor advertising screens, a contrast ratio of 3,000:1 to 5,000:1 ensures sharp, vibrant visuals in controlled lighting environments. Outdoor LED screens often require higher contrast, typically 5,000:1 to 10,000:1, to maintain visibility and readability under direct sunlight and varying weather conditions.

Pixel pitch

Pixel pitch refers to the distance between the centers of two adjacent pixels, typically measured in millimeters, and directly impacts the display's resolution and viewing distance. A smaller pixel pitch means higher pixel density, resulting in sharper image quality and better viewing experiences, especially at closer distances. The main benefits include improved visual clarity, seamless integration for large-scale displays, and suitability for applications like digital signage and professional presentations where detail and precision are critical.

Screen refresh rate

A high refresh rate in LED advertising screens ensures smooth, flicker-free visuals, making content crisp and eye-catching for both indoor and outdoor audiences. This is essential for dynamic ads and fast-moving visuals, preventing motion blur and ensuring a seamless viewing experience, even in bright daylight. With superior refresh rates, our LED screens deliver vibrant, professional-quality displays that maximise engagement and leave a lasting impression.
LED screens are energy-efficient, but power usage varies depending on size, brightness, and operating hours. A standard UK consumer power supply at 230 volts AC with a frequency of 50 Hz is required to drive the LED screens. Indoor LED Screens typically consume between 100 to 300 watts per square meter. Outdoor LED screens, due to higher brightness requirements, generally consume between 300 to 700 watts per square meter. We provide full guidance on power requirements and efficient operation to help minimise running costs, which is especially important given UK energy prices.
For rental screens, we provide durable, lightweight hard-shell cases for safe transport and storage. If you own an LED screen, we offer guidance on best storage practices and optional maintenance services to prolong its lifespan.
Installation time depends on the size and complexity of the screen, but most can be set up within a few hours to a couple of days. Our UK-wide team ensures a smooth, professional installation with minimal disruption.
